Blunt: Brendon Smith, is he the best in the world?

Brendon Smith has released alot of edits recently and all of them are amazing. Constant stream of new combos ledt even me breathless. Wallride to buttercup,Flair bar, wallride to 720, whip to quad finger whip, 360's rewinds to inverts the list goes on and on. Brendon is probably the best in the world.

Shredder of the week #3: CJ Treihart

I was recently searching around on youtube, and came across this amazing video CJ Treihart made.

It may not be all that special, and he may whore alot of tricks, but it is still full of style.

Also, here is another video CJ uploaded on friday called "First try fridays".

ApexProScooter: Bar Comp Winner!!

The bar design's from January's comp are finally released.

There called Stealth bars and there getting a mixed reaction through-out the community

They will be sold for approx $159 which is pretty expensive (like all other Apex Parts ;)

However these won't be the first Apex bars to hit the market.

Scooters In the next X-Games?

Well atleast the Asian X-games. Blunt has been talking with the organisers about Scooters entering next years games. It turns out the scooters are almost definitely going to compete next year. This is gonna be a huge step-up for scooters.

Scooter Zone has just started an Australian team. Shaun Callins is a great all round rider and this vid will show it.

Hey Guys, just thought I would let you know French ID have released there new 1 piece deck.

It looks really nice, with good welds and a flexfender.
I also noticed they have added the hole in the headtube, all companys seem to be doing that now.
Here are some facts about the new French ID Deck:

- 6061 Heat Treated Aluminum
- Brand new flex brake system
- 82.5 Headtube angle
- Integreated headset (Also comes with a French ID Headset)
- Total weight 3 pounds 8 ounces
- Includes Flex brake and Headset

The Flex Brake looks really good, with a nice and clean design, and supposedly it's unlike all other flex brakes on the market!

Blunt annouced IHC

Compression is the latest advancement in scootering. Alot of companies have been working on new types of compression systems. Blunt has annouced that they'll never make a SCS however they have made a new type of compression called Intergrated Headset compression. Blunt are going to release pictures soon but according to Blunt "the compression system will never loosen itself" witch is a very good thing.

Madd EU is recruiting!

The MADD EU Team has been closed & we have taken the decision to look for new European riders for a ‘refreshed’ MADD EU Team.

This summer we have a European tour with MGP UK & special guests Coedie Donovan & Tyler Bonner, this will now be a search for new raw talent throughout Europe for a new MADD EU Team.

If you feel you are good enough to ride for MADD EU then come along and impress us on the EU tour (dates yet to be released). To give yourself a better chance of getting on MADD EU feel free to send a sponsor video to me at terry@maddgear.com

Blunt: Rain sucks

Good video from the tech master. This time he's taking on street. Alot of stacks which isn't surprising because the ground looks extremely wet. The last couple of tricks are really creative.

It turns out its a double clamp.

MADD GEAR

Madd gear released a group of photos showing there 2011 range.

The MGP Nitro Extreme is the lighter version of the Nitro. It also has a stronger fork and bars. Also has a nice pair of pegs. However it seems alot of people think its over done with all the decals and crazy colours.

The MGP Team Edition is a popular scooter for park beginners and this year there going to be alot more colourful. Nothing new about the Team Edition. Aero Cores, Y bars and a flex fender. Team Ed's are set to retail at $160 AUD

The Mini MGP is also getting a paint job. Buy one for your sister/brother

And last of all the MGP's is the original Madd Gear. Like the other MGP's, the original will come in 7 colours. The bars now are curved. Kinda reminds me of MGPat's old bars ;)

Interview with Sherrie Coe!

I was recently chatting to Sherrie Coe, and I decided I might shoot her some questions for an Interview.
If you don't know who she is, she is the mother of Rory Coe, and one of the most influential people in the scene, especially in Australia.

Kyle: First off, Name and where you live?

Sherrie: Sherrie Coe, Penrith NSW

Kyle: How long have you been part of the scooter communtiy?

Sherrie: Since my son Rory started to get involved, four years ago.

Kyle: How did you first start becoming involved?

Sherrie: I like to support my children with their sport and understand how much it means to them.

Kyle: What's your favourite part about being involved with the community?

Sherrie: Watching the sport grow and the youth getting out enjoying the sport instead of sitting inside playing games .Its great to see how everyone out there having a go and getting along with each other.
Things I dislike about the sport is when riders get there scooter stolen by only a few of the misunfortunate people out their in the scooter world.

Terry Price tests some Jeans

Terry Price tests out these new jeans by Urban Kreation. I don't care about the jeans and more about the tricks. Flair whip was my personal favourite. The riding went well with the dubstep song.

The new Blunt "Battle" headsets will be arriving at all stores that stock blunt soon.

The headset will be the first legit scooter headset hitting the scene, made out of quality forged 6061 aluminium and come with 5 very nice colours, just to match your scooter!

Blunt Scooters: Melbourne Experience

This week Blunt team riders Wazzeh and Aaron Bransdon, Flew down to Melbourne and met up with other team riders Max Peters, Mitch Baldry and Brendon smith To be filmed for Totally Wild Tv Series, They rode Park during the day and at night went for a ride around Melbourne city streets!
